OK SO I know this doesn't look like it could possibly be 'healthy'....but what IF IT WAS..what if life just got a whole lot better and your dreams have officially become a reality..THIS cacao avocado smoothie bowl is a super indulgent breakfast option.. one may ask why AVOCADO and not BANANA?
Why thank you for asking such a pertinent question you smart human...Well according to Ayurveda, bananas increase mucus in the body, are heavier to digest, and clog channels of the body...Although avocados are also heavy and I find that they don't create mucus in the body. Not to mention they are lower in carbohydrates and sugar 👍🏽. SO here is my avocado almond butter cacao smoothie bowl, which you can also make into just a smoothie by adding in a little extra milk 💁🏻

🥗 I N G R E D I E N T S
1 ½ medium avocado
2 tbsp cacao powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp almond butter or hazelnut butter (omit or use sunflower seed butter for nut free option)
1 cup milk alternative ( I used unsweetened oat or almond)
½ tbsp maca powder (optional)
1/2 tbsp date syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
🌿 T H E M A G I C
1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy
2. Feel free to indulge with your toppings. a lil almond butter, date nectar, nuts or a cheeky cookie ( I use Simple Mills chocolate chip cookies..SO GOOD!).
