
Chai Spiced & Almond Oatmeal
Doesn't it just sound so dreamy!!! The smell of this cooking is just divine! I cook my oatmeal for a looong time, it makes it super creamy, it ends up tasting like a creamy rich rice pudding!!

Serves: 2 people as a lunch ( 4 if you are making as a side dish)
Cook time: 15 minutes
🥗 I N G R E D I E N T S
1 cup quick cook oats
1 tsp chai spice
1/2 tsp cardamom
2 medjool dates chopped
1/4 cup water
2 cups plant based milk
Topping
1 tbsp almond butter
sprinkle of roasted pumpkin seeds
sprinkle of shaved almonds
sprinkle of rose petals
drizzle of date syrup
🌿 T H E M A G I C
Add the oats, chai spice, cardamom, dates and water into a pan and heat on medium flame.
Once it thickens add in 1 cup of milk, let it cook for about 5 minutes until it thickens again
Add the remaining milk and continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes till thick and creamy!
Pour into a bowl and sprinkle your toppings
